Where does Alder New York ship?

We currently ship to anywhere in the Unites States, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greenland, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

What shipping options does Alder New York Offer?

We ship using the United States Postal Service. You can choose your type of service (e.g. First Class- only for orders under 13 oz., Priority, Priority Mail Express, First Class International, Priority Mail International, Priority Mail Express International) at checkout. Rates will be calculated based on the weight of your order.

When does my order qualify for free shipping?

Your order qualifies for free shipping if it's over $75 and shipping to somewhere within the United States. Please note that since digital gift cards are emailed to you, they do not count towards the free shipping amount.

When will my order ship?

Once we receive your order (which happens as soon as you click submit), processing takes 1 to 2 business days (and orders placed after 1pm ET are processed the next business day). You’ll get an email with a tracking number as soon as your package ships, and you can follow USPS on their route to deliver it to you.

Outside of the U.S., shipping times do take a bit longer, so please allow up to four weeks delivery from the date the product ships out.

Can I track my order?

Yes, absolutely. As soon as your order ships out, you will be emailed a USPS tracking number, and you can always login to your aldernewyork.com account to review your order's tracking number. Please note that for international packages, if you select First Class Mail International shipping for your order, you will receive a tracking number but will not be able to track your order once it leaves the U.S. If you select Priority or Priority Mail Express International, you can track your package the whole way to your door.

I'm having problems with the tracking; what should I do?

We're sorry about that! If your tracking number isn’t updating or working at all, please reach out to us as soon as you can at customerservice@aldernewyork.com, and we will make sure to resolve the problem.

If I order internationally, are there any extra fees associated with delivery of my order?

If you order outside of the U.S., then extra fees will depend on where you package is going. You are responsible for any import duties or taxes charged by your country and carrier-related fees. These additional charges will be collected by our shipping carrier at the time of delivery.

How can I edit my shipping address?

Our warehouse packs orders very quickly, so if you realize you put in the wrong address please email us at customerservice@aldernewyork.com as soon as possible with the correct address. If your order is still processing, we can change the shipping details for you. Unfortunately, once your order ships out, we cannot change the address.

Returns & Exchanges

How do I place a return or exchange?

We're sorry you didn't love your Alder New York Product. We do not do exchanges, but please feel free to return your item, and then place a new order if there is something else you’d like. To return an item, please reach out to customerservice@aldernewyork.com with your order number and the products you'd like to return, and we’ll email you a USPS return label that you can use to send back your item.

What’s your return policy?

If, within 30 days of the ship date you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value (your original shipping charges are not refundable). Email us at customeservice@aldernewyork.com and we'll help you place the return. 

Please note that we cannot accept returns on items damaged through normal wear and tear.

What should I do if I receive the wrong product?

If you received a product different from the one that you ordered, sorry about that! Please email us at customeservice@aldernewyork.com and we'll get your correct item out to you right away.
