I bought this Texture Powder on a whim after reading all the positive reviews online. For a few years I've been relying on spray-on dry shampoo to stretch out the interval in-between shampoos, but knew there had to be something better (I have heavy, thick, straight hair). I'm definitely pleasantly surprised. I actually think the efficacy of one application lasts more than one day, which totally exceeds my expectations.
Did not give my hair any texture or hold. It just made my hair puffy (added volume). Would not recommend for men. I used 3x hated it, and gave it to my girlfriend who likes to use it as dry shampoo. Perhaps this was my misunderstanding, but i was expecting texture powder, not dry shampoo.
I tried about four or five powders from different brands before trying Alder’s version. I sincerely find Alder to be the best. The powder absorbs the oils better, yet doesn’t result in matted hair. I’m able to easily ruffle and tease my hair with just my fingers. Some may find the aroma somewhat peculiar, but I personally like it. Yes, I will definitely be using Alder’s Texture Powder in the future, as I found it markedly superior to the other brands I tried.
Great product! Dont need much to get my hair back to looking alive and give it volume,!
