It’s a must for me.
I use the powder on my hair pretty much every single day. I can’t go without it. The texture it gives my hair is the only kind that works for my situation!
Hair care for a small planet
Have been using this product since it was first created. The ingredients have changed a bit over the years, and I think the name, too...in all its permutations, it’s the best product I have found to use as a natural dry shampoo. I can apply it to my scalp directly from the container, or pour it into a dish and use a powder brush for precise placement. Then, give a good tousle for body, and brush or comb through to remove excess powder if you want a sleeker look. Using this product has entirely allowed me to go from daily washings to a bi- or tri-weekly schedule. Over time, thousands of gallons of water saved! Alder, if you ever stop making this product, please tell me in advance so I can stockpile it.
The Best Hair Powder Ever
I typically go about a week between washes -- and this is my holy grail. I sprinkle a little Alder Texture Powder on my roots and it instantly freshens my scalp and gives me lot of lift. I always get compliments on how great my hair looks (the secret, folks, is dirty hair and lots of powder).
Like what it does, adds volume, no white reside. Not sure I love the scent but its CLEAN, chem free and that's most important. Will continue use.
Not my favorite
It’s a little too drying. Even when I use a tiny bit my hair is left feeling like I have hairspray in it—stiff.
