Gift giving can be hard. You always want to get something that's thoughtful, desired, and feels expensive without being expensive. Gift giving is probably the most stressful thing about the holiday season. But here's a new take on gift giving: why don't we stop stressing about all the different gifts out there and hone in on what is maybe the best type of gift -the gift of skincare.
I know that that just sounds way too personal. And, I know you're thinking "of course you're recommending giving skincare as holiday gifts- you own a skincare company." And yes, that last statement is true, but hear me out.
The Perfect Gift
Skincare is the best gift. Plainly put, people love skincare. It's a rapidly rising market with both men and women and there are more brands and shops to purchase from then ever before. What's great about skincare is that trying things out is the only way to know if something is right for you. A gift of skincare gives the recipient that zero obligations chance to try out something new. It may be a complete hit or a complete miss. If it's a hit, what an awesome gift, and if it's a miss, who really cares? It was a gift!
Don't Mess This Up
There's just one really important rule. Don't give skincare products that are for specific skin problems. Avoid anti-aging, acne treatments, and other treatment specific items that can seem offensive. Can you imaging giving your mother an anti-aging serum and having to explain "You know, cause you're old?" or a Proactive gift set to your little cousin and looking at them with a straight face and telling them it's not because they have a pizza face?
Avoid all of those awkward moments and stick to products that have claims about healthier, clearer, more hydrated, and/ or smoother skin results. Because who doesn't want any of those effects?
The Gift of Opportunity
This year take a break from stressing out about gift giving and give the opportunity of finding a new favorite skincare product. And while you're at it, you just might want to start right here.
