Which Face Mask is Right for You?

In this golden age of skincare, it can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming to figure out what you actually want to use. And that sucks, because- especially when it comes to something like face masks- it's supposed to be fun! So we made our face mask guide to help you figure out which of our Cream Face Masks is the perfect fit for you. They're all super speedy, with results in five minutes or less. And they're all travel friendly and pre-mixed, so you don't have to do any measuring.

What's Your Skin Type?

The first step is to know what type of skin you have. Most of us fall into oily, dry, or somewhere in between. If you're not sure which one you are, check out our guide to pinpoint your skin type.

Say Goodbye to Oil

If you have oily or combination skin, you’re gonna be psyched to try the Clarifying Face Mask. Oil attracts dirt and bacteria that build up- that’s when you get blackheads and acne. The Clarifying Face Mask is formulated with the dream team of ingredients that both combat oil and gently exfoliate dead skin, to clear any buildup. Naturally salicylic acid rich rosemary and willow bark extract exfoliate dead skin while controlling oil. Zinc Oxide work to control inflammation - the main cause of acne and oil production. And activated charcoal works like a magnet to clean deep within pores.

For those of us with combination skin, I recommend using the Clarifying Face Mask on your T-zone, and skipping your cheeks, which can be drier. If you have oily skin all over, go ahead and apply over your whole face. Sometimes You can also include your chest and back if it feels right.

Drier Skin Should Hydrate

If you’re on the other end of the skin spectrum, and deal with dry skin, you’re gonna want to go with the Hydrating Face Mask. Dry skin folks suffer from a lack of oil production, so they need all the moisture they can get. Our Hydrating Face Mask is packed with the mother of all hydrators: hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is the same acid naturally found in supple skin, and it’s also often used in fillers. It creates hydrated, supple skin. And, as dry skin is usually fragile and prone to damage, the antioxidant blend of vitamin e, spirulina, and oat straw extract work to fight free radicals and repair damage.

This mask is also great for combination and normal skin types that are dealing with dryness and need some instant hydration.

Brighten and Shine

If your skin is that blessed “normal,” or combination type, I recommend the Brightening Face Mask. This mask is that magical dullness defier, for when your skin just needs a little something extra. The goal of this mask is to reduce dark spots and puffiness, for super healthy looking results. It’s formulated with Moroccan red clay- a clay beloved by ancient Egyptian royalty for its detoxifying powers and antioxidant richness. Vitamin c works to reduce dark spots and brighten your complexion, while chamomile extract calms and conditions. This mask will make you feel like you've just been airbrushed in real life.
