Current Obsessions - Volume 10

Current Obsessions is our recurring feature where you'll get an inside look into what Alder New York's Chief Creative Officer David Krause and CEO Nina Zilka are currently obsessing over.

DK: This pink glass mug from Target will give your morning coffee routine a major glow-up.

DK: Agnes' latest album Magic Still Exists is the best disco revival album out there. It's the perfect energizing boost that gets me amped up for just about any task.

DK: Alder New York's Brightening Face Mask has been my go-to for calming my chapped winter skin. Its cool jelly texture feels so good and my complexion legit looks brighter.

DK: If you need a TV show that is thrilling, suspenseful, and all around engrossing Showtime's Yellowjackets is the show for you. I already can't wait for season 2!

DK: I recently discovered which allows you to bid live at auctions all over the country. I recently spotted this Louis Vuitton lounge chair which I'm completely obsessed with- the only problem is the opening bid is $10k!

NZ: I love this series of glass collages made by New York based artist Jess Humphrey at the Corning Museum of Glass. She describes them as a “process of letting go.”

NZ: These colorful rugs give me joy, and the fact that they were designed off of artwork by teenaged girls as part of a workshop through the Toni Garrn Foundation (an organization that supports the education of young women in Africa) in collaboration with Alex Proba, and that 100% of the proceeds of these rugs go back to the Toni Garrn Foundation, also gives me joy.

NZ: Dusen Dusen’s new napkins make any tablescape just a little more fun while also keeping it sophisticated.

NZ: I’m officially at the age where everyone I know is having a baby, and this gender-neutral dragon mobile feels like the perfect whimsical baby gift.

DK: My skin does not enjoy the mix of freezing NYC weather and blasting apartment radiator heat. Thankfully Alder New York’s Cleansing Body Bar has kept my skin hydrated and smooth in spite of it all.
