Alder New York Wins the Credo Pitch

Last week a panel of industry judges comprised of Matin Maulawizada, Julia French, and Mia Davis, along with an audience of shoppers, heard 5 pitches from emerging Indie beauty brands to find the next great natural personal care brand at Credo Beauty's Manhattan location.

Clean, Vegan, and Genderless Skincare for All 

The 5 finalists were selected by Credo out of 85 indie beauty brand submissions. Alder New York, along with Yuyo BotanicsAPTO skincare, Allyoos, and O'o Hawaii had 3 minutes each to present their brand and then answer 3 questions from the judges. 

Alder New York's founders impressed the audience with a casual conversational presentation that clearly expressed the Alder New York ethos of clean, vegan, and genderless skincare for all. Nina and David walked the audience through their Everyday Skincare System and shared the unique blend of active ingredients in each product and how they work together to provide maximal results with minimal products and time.

A Meeting with Credo Beauty

After all 5 brands presented, Credo’s Co-Founder and COO, Annie Jackson, tallied the audience, and judges voted and announced Alder New York the winner. The prize was a meeting with Credo's Marketing Director, Michelle Connelly the next day at Indie Beauty Expo to discuss next steps.
