We got a chance to get founder of Calle Del Mar, Aza Ziegler's, favorites spots to eat and shop when she's recharging on the West Coast. Here are a few of her top picks!

SQIRL 270 VIRGIL AVE #4, LOS ANGELES, CA

"When I went there for the first time in January, a bunch of people recommended it to me and the girl that was working there knew a friend of someone else and was like, you have to try this, and this, and I tried everything. So good, everything is just so delicious. I love Sqirl"

GJUSTA 320 SUNSET AVE, VENICE, CA

"Gjusta is my fave compared to their sister restaurant, Gjelina! It's this organic deli and they have ammmmmaaazzzing food and a little garden to sit in."

SOL FOOD 401 MILLER AVE, MILL VALLEY, CA

"If you ever go to San Fransisco, and you leave San Fransisco, go to Marin County. You have to go to Sol Food; it's the best healthy Puerto Rican style food. It's like so good."

PAINTED BIRD VINTAGE  4208 SANTA MONICA BLVD, LOS ANGELES, CA

"Painted Bird vintage is highly curated but not over priced. They have an instagram culture where people keep their credit card on file and you comment or call if you want something you see on their feed! I like the way they run things; its like an auction. However, its decor is very minimal which isn't always fun when vintage shopping, but they definitely have a unique style."

ALAMEDA FLEA MARKET 2700 SARATOGA ST, ALAMEDA, CA

"I grew up going to the Alameda flea. It's one of the best in the country and used to be very cheap. I give myself a $20 cap. When it's cold, you eat that really good kettle corn when you get hungry. It feels like a huge estate sale."

ROSE BOWL FLEA MARKET 1001 ROSE BOWL DR, PASADENA, CA

"I went for the first time in January. I'd been dreaming about it and it was just as good as I thought. Not so good for clothes, but the jewelry, trinkets, and furniture is out of this world."
