Fall / Winter 2016 New York Fashion Week Trend: Exaggerated Natural Brows
Eyebrows, or lack thereof, dominated our roundup of the our favorite New York Fashion Week beauty looks. Models all over the shows, including Alexander Wang's, Prabal Garung's, and Proenza Schouler's, either sported full, enviously bushy brows that looked like they’d never even heard of a tweezer, or sported brows that were barely even there. The point is to let the eyebrows do whatever they were born to do and then exaggerate it.
If you have thick brows let them go wild, even using an eyebrow brush and some pomade to separate and brush the hairs up to get them looking messier. If you naturally have barely-there brows, now’s your chance to go really high fashion and bleach or wax to get rid of them altogether. They’ll grow back, so you have nothing to lose. We love this focus on eyebrows on an otherwise bare face; our whole grooming routine just got easier, and it elevates any look with the most minimal of effort in the mornings.
